Bin Valve
Type B-l F clam shell valve is especially designed for foundry
service. It can be furnished with leak proof lips which will not
leak dry sand. This valve has a wide range of applications to molders,
hoppers, sand bins, etc., and is made in a variety of sizes.
The smaller sizes can be quickly and easily hand operated through
the use of the operating lever, which has an adjustable counterweight
for self-closing. For larger sizes, air operation is recommended
in order to have the operator's hands free for other duties.
The valve jaws are gear operated. The valves are constructed with
renewable heavy plate steel sides on the valve body and renewable
steel plate bottoms on the jaws.
