The Torque (T), in inch-pounds, required at the
shaft on which it is mounted may be found by using the
equation at right.
The base should be mounted on a sufficiently rigid
support designed to take an uplift load of approximately
1.5T/R where R = the radius of the T = 63,000 x HP/R.P.M.
where HP = Horsepower required to run the conveyor.
